Design At Work - Baby Talk - The first word in advertising and PR from Design At Work
Fresh Marketing: The Quicker Business Picker-Upper While you’ve been busy this spring scrubbing your toilet and vacuuming underneath the bed, your business’ marketing has been gathering its own dust bunnies. While not as visible as the ring around the tub or the inch of dust on your coffee table, your marketing can get a little untidy, too. Isn’t it time your image got a little sprucing up with a little bit of DAW-style spring cleaning? Here are a few tried-and-true techniques to tackling your muddled marketing and giving your business the lemony-fresh invigoration it needs! Organize your brand. Is your business’ brand image consistent across all of your marketing and advertising materials? If your logo is brown on your brochure and red on your website; if your tagline is “Rock on” in your eNews and “Rock it” in your email signature; or if even your mother can’t remember if you sell rockets or sprockets—then it’s time you tidy up your brand. Polish your design. Take a fresh, critical eye to the design of your marketing collateral. Does it incite more “ughs” than “oohs and ahs?” Is it professional and inviting? Does it “pop” and make your customer want to keep reading? Does it truly sell your business? If your answer is no to any of these questions, maybe it’s time to get your business polished by a professional. Just like new. Sometimes the best way to keep your marketing so fresh and so clean, is to keep it spotless. Don’t let your marketing get lackluster. Once refreshing marketing can turn into dull, uninteresting marketing for current and potential clients. By keeping your content and design fresh, especially on your website, your business will never sully in the minds of customers.
Client Spotlight: Bay Area Recovery Center Let’s face it. For more than 18 years, Bay Area Recover Center (BARC) has treated and counseled hundreds of individuals with alcohol and drug addictions. Witnessing first-hand the emotional, mental, spiritual and physical effects of addiction, BARC turned to Design At Work to help them reach out to individuals and families in need of their services. BARC’s “Let’s face it” campaign emphasizes that alcoholism and drug addiction affects us all, but so does recovery— BARC can help you face it. It’s Your Turn. Have a question for Design At Work?
