Baby Talk - April 2012 - The first word in advertising and PR from Design At Work.
Doing It All For My Baby. Don't Let Your Marketing Get Lackluster. While not as visible as the ring around the tub or the inch of dust on your coffee table, your marketing tactics can get a little untidy too. Because you want to be as fine as you can be, here are a few DAW-style spring-cleaning techniques that may help tackle your muddled marketing and give your business the lemony-fresh invigoration it needs! Organize your brand. Is your business' brand image consistent across all of your marketing and advertising materials? If your logo is brown on your brochure and red on your website or your tagline is 'Rock on' in your eNews and 'Rock it' in your email signature – then it's time you tidy up your brand. Polish your design. Take a fresh, critical eye to the design of your marketing collateral. Is it professional and inviting? Does it 'pop' and make your customer want to keep reading? Does it truly sell your business? If your answer is no to any of these questions, maybe it's time to get your business polished by a professional. Just like new. Sometimes the best way to keep your marketing so fresh and so clean is to keep it spotless. Once refreshing marketing can turn into dull, uninteresting marketing for current and potential clients. By keeping your content and design fresh, especially on your website, your business will never sully in the minds of customers.

Baby Genius
We've said it before, and we'll say it again — we have the formula for your success. Here's an example of how we helped a baby go from crawling to running in no time.

Devereux Texas, a local nonprofit hospital and residential treatment facility specializing in the care of emotional, behavioral, developmental and psychiatric disorders, held its annual gala, 'Savor the Hope: Dining for Devereux' at Hotel ZaZa in late January. The James Bond-themed evening included a Sean Connery impersonator, an Aston Martin and gourmet hors d'oeurves. Funds raised went to support the children and young adults in Devereux's care.

To call attention to the event, DAW assisted with the kick-off party, created gift bags for all attendees, designed and programed eBlasts, as well as created elegant invitations and signage. All the hard work paid off as the gala attracted hundreds of supporters and generated outstanding post-event news coverage in the Houston-area luxury magazines.
