Keep it Simple

State What’s in it for Them
Consumers are constantly bombarded with “asks.” If you want someone to take your company up on its call to action, communicate the benefits. Instead of simply asking them to sign up for emails, let them know that signing up gives them the inside scoop on sales and events. Don’t just tell them you have a loyalty program. Tell them about the rewards they’ll receive. Just a slight tweak on your messaging can make a big difference.

Make it “Pop”
Your call to action won’t do anything if its intended audience can’t see it. Place the messaging someplace visible, and consider dressing it up with bold print or an eye-catching color. If you’re offering a discount, design the area to look like a coupon. People will instinctively understand they’re being offered a deal — and will be more likely to pay attention to what you have to say.
