Offshore and subsea construction company reveals a refreshed, cohesive brand to impress oil and gas industry giants.

Hydra Offshore Construction: Construction Marketing 

Hydra Offshore Construction rents, owns and operates a fleet of offshore construction vessels to complete a variety of projects primarily for the oil and gas and drilling industries. Acting as general contractor, Hydra recruits top talent and acquires equipment and vessels to get the job done. With a new vessel that makes it possible to complete subsea projects, Hydra contacted Design At Work to refresh their outdated brand.

To position Hydra in a unique way to make them stand out against competitors, Design At Work created a new campaign “Subsea to Surface”. Focusing on Hydra’s capabilities, services and customers, the campaign communicates that Hydra can take care of the customers’ needs, from A to Z. It also reflects where they can complete work, both in topside and subsea environments. Although the client preferred their existing color palette, Design At Work developed a new logo to reinforce the brand.

Additionally, the Design At Work team created an SEO-friendly website that further illuminates Hydra’s story while sharing more details about the services offered. A new specification sheet for vessels and equipment was also designed to meet consistency goals. A company presentation as well as team member resumes and spotlights were developed to highlight the breadth of experience on the Hydra team. Social media and monthly eBlasts support top-of-mind-awareness with Hydra’s target audience.
