YakGear, a manufacturer and distributor of quality paddlesport accessories, decided the time had come to take its established company to the next level. While the business maintained a loyal following among kayak and canoe enthusiasts, the company found itself struggling to strike the right balance when marketing both YakGear and the other products the company sold. Design At Work stepped in to create a cohesive look and feel that gives the individual entities the attention they deserve while still placing YakGear front and center. The result? "Your Rules." 

The company’s drive to give kayakers and canoers the tools they need to take to the water on their own terms was a natural lead-in to YakGear's new tagline, "Your Rules." Design At Work built a campaign around "YakRules," featuring tips and tricks people can use for a better day on the water — all tied into the ways YakGear's products can help. Today, with help from a new and improved website, email marketing, advertisements, trade show pieces and more, the company is making waves in all the right ways.
